This Thursday, April 30, the League of Women Voters of Los Alamos will be hosting a candidate forum here in Los Alamos, and yes, it will be my first official forum, so I’m equal parts excited and will probably be a little over-caffeinated.

UNM–Los Alamos Student Center

6:30 PM – Light refreshments & meet-and-greet

7:00 PM – Forum begins (wraps up around 9:00 PM)

Candidates for County Council and County Sheriff will be there. Each of us will give a short introduction, followed by a moderated Q&A with questions from the audience.

If you’ve ever wanted to hear directly from the candidates (or just see how we do under a little pressure), this is a great chance to come out.

I’d genuinely appreciate a strong, positive turnout—it makes a difference, and it makes these conversations better.

Hope to see some familiar faces there.
