Who Am I?

I was born on Long Island, New York, but I was raised in southern New Mexico. After the events of September 11th, I joined the United States Army and served in Germany and Iraq during the early stages of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

After leaving the military, I attended New Mexico State University and began building a career in retail leadership in various states with Albertsons & eventually Smith’s Food and Drug. In 2018, I returned to New Mexico and eventually became the Assistant Store Leader at Smith’s Marketplace in Los Alamos, where I continue serving the community today.

Over the years, I’ve tried to stay involved and give back to the community that I’m proud to be part of. I currently serve on the Los Alamos County Transportation Board and the Library Board, and as Vice Chair of the Los Alamos Schools Credit Union.

Outside of work and community service, I enjoy cooking, spending time outdoors, and visiting with family whenever I can.

I’m running for County Council because I believe in being fiscally responsible, supporting small business and ensuring that community members have a voice before decisions are made.

What do I believe?

    • Cut waste

    • Spend money where it actually helps residents

“We should be investing in our community and not wasting money on things that don’t directly benefit people.”

    • County Council should get involved in the planning stages earlier (not just rubber stamping).

    • Make sure community members have a public voice.

“Decisions shouldn’t be a present to the council that is already wrapped up in a nice little package. People deserve to have a voice from the beginning.”

    • Make it easier - not harder - to operate locally

    • Fix frustrating processes (permitting, inspections, etc.)

“If we want a strong local economy, we need to stop making it harder for small businesses to succeed.”
